Pull the anti-siphon valve out and throw it in the trash. It is a check valve in the bottom of the fuel pickup tube. One thing I know for sure, if that is what it is, it will do it again and again
. As long as the fuel line and carbs/efi are higher than the top of the tank, you don't need it.
