Haven't had any experience with Cummins yet. The new boat will be a Cummins and is still being built. The old one in the Hawaiian Seacraft thread had a Volvo 200 diesel in it. Volvo service wasn't a problem for us as we could do most of the work ourselves. If we couldn't my brother had a friend who is a Volvo Penta mechanic
