The pic is a little deceiving, that is not a rod in the background. I used a custom 8ft Sage spinning rod with a Ru 401 with 25lb test. A close friend's parents owned a
condo in the South Tower from when they were built.
They never used it, but you can bet we did. Coming over as
much as twice a month..
Before they built the pier we would catch them off the beach
on the old cattle barge..
As far as a trophy (when you could keep one) 34lbs was the
top. Can you say "Lady Fish"
Fishing on the pier requires you to be a quest or owner.
Security would always try to chase us off. But we had the last laugh when we showed them our pass keys!

Truly one of the top 5 spots in the state. You should consider coming over for the Long Point Gathering. We have some tough Snook on this side. The current at Sebastian runs
about 12 knots on an average outgoing. We drift the inlet
bouncing our home made jigs on the bottom..
