Curious, your deck planks are at 90 degrees to the length of the dock run, which is how we did it in NC. In TX they run theres parallel, I asked why and they said they hold up better to hurricanes, but tend to be very unstable when walking on. They are also not near as wide. I was wondering if anyone had input into this?
