Default Re: twin 140 zukes on a 23cc?

Right now I have twin Yamaha 200 HP OX66's sitting on my 23'. I believe that they weight over 450 pounds each. They only have about 270 hours on them and my plan is to drive them for as long as I can.

So far they have been very reliable. My only issue is that they like the gas. In the 30 to 40 mile per hour cruise range, I probably average around 1.7 miles per gallon.

After they go, I see the following options

1. Go with Yamaha HPDi's
Pro's
- I already have Yamaha controls.
- Better gas mileage (I would hope to average at least 2 miles per gallon with the HPDI's)than I get today
- Not super expensive
- I like Yamaha's
- I like 2 stroke hole shot performance

Con's
- They are a little heavier than what I have today.
- I have read that the HPDI's are a generation behind the E Tec's (and possibly even Merc's)

2. Go with E Tech's

Pro's
- Arguably, the best 2 stroke motor on the market

Con's
- The most expensive option (up front anyway)
- Motor weight

3. Go with Zuke's (either twin 115's or 140's)

Pro's
- Cost
- Fuel efficency

Con's
- Speed?????
- I don't know 4 strokes???

I would be interested to hear Briguy's opinion on this as he has twin 115 HP Zukes and seems to be quite high on them.
