Dixon, I gotta admit I'm pretty good at throwing lead at mullet and other fish. It's getting fish inside the net that's my problem. Oh yeah, I just gotta remember to hang onto the leash, especially when casting at ballyhoo or cigar minnows in 40+ feet of water. I really,
really hate having to dive in after my net
I can't free-dive 60-70 feet like I could 30 years ago. If I didn't have a 20' leash that floats, I would have lost my net twice already.
BTW, we can't stay, but hope to spend part of Saturday morning with y'all. Gotta be back home for a church service at 6 that evening, and it's a 4 hour drive to Sebastian.
