I cut my in deck livewell out. Everything became clear. All my thru hulls are out and drying. A little slime and a tad damp , but the wood is solid. I `m putting a 40 gal oval under a shortie leaning post, and putting my seats on top. You want the plumbing in FRONT of the well to avoid problems. Think Yellowstone. I`m gonna run an 800gph rule w 1 " hose and 1 1/2 drain. The drain is a 90 * so may need 2 thru the top of the coffin and out the existing transom thru hull.
Should I fill the other 2 thru hulls or re-install bronze thru hulls w/ rubber plugs for emergencies?
