) All of this was pre-fit before sealing/screwing/etc. I took a 6" x 6" x 3/4" plywood,drilled the HS pick-up clearance hole, put on 3 coats of epoxy, and 4200 it down, mounted the high speed pick-up with SS screws long enough for a good bite, screwed the seacock (a glorified flange mounted ball valve) to the HS pick-up tightly, screwed it to the wood using 4200 to seal all of it. I realize mine is somewhat temporary because I believe the wood should be glassed down.
Look up "ringleaders" boat/refurbish.
Here's a pic of the epoxy coated wood. The larger is for thru-hull transducer. With all that said.....I read recently in a sailing mag. that Groco is recalling a lot of 2-3 yr. old seacocks because the SS stem material did not meet their spec. (made in china)

I think mine falls in that group.
