That is an interesting article. I may also be replacing the bulkhead on my Seafari and I had only considered marine ply -- just hadn't yet decided to go teak, fir or a mahogany variant. I think the XL panel is made by Greenwood Lumber or similar. Not familiar with XL-10 but I think the Greenwood stuff was doug fir plys treated with copper chromate (same stuff they use for treated lumber) and exterior grade glue/epoxy? I think for the bulkhead or floors (if wrapped in resin) it would be fine. Price is certainly favorable.
