Unlike the old fashion way of throwing nonskid on wet paint and then coating over. Mix the nonskid 50% coarse & 50%fine. If your using Signature Paint, the mix ratio in ounces is: 8/2/4/2 Paint/Catalyst/Thinner/Grit.
Stir often, after masking, brush on and then smooth out using the type roller pictured below. The loops float the nonskid up within the paint thus keeping it uniform.

Hint: Brush a 2'x 2' section at a time. Brush on section 1 & 2. Roll out section 1 & half 2. Brush section 3. Roll out second half of 2 and first half of section 3----> continue this process and you will not have Start/Finish lines. Cut the roller in half so you have an extra one in case you drop it in he dirt and roll out slowly to prevent splatering any grit particles
