There is a mathematical formula to determine the distance between the CC and the leaning post. I really can’t remember who came up with the formula but over the years it has proven to be most effective in determining the inches from the CC to the leaning post.
THE RELATIVE SPACE FORMULA
Captains height x Captains weight = A
Captains beer consumption per day on the water X Captains beer consumption of average day = B
Captains age x amount of days on the water X amount of days off the water at the bar talking about fishing = C
Now here is where it gets a little tricky. Captains girth X potential girth over a 15 year period = D
Then you just multiply that out and divide buy you current fathers waist size and you got the exact distance in inches.
