I just purchased an HVLP spray gun from Harbor Freight for $29 that I used to paint the Hull on my 17' Thistle. My compresser is only a small Porter Cable about 2.8 CFM but it keep up fine. It really looks great and I have not sprayed anything before in my life.

I am dreaming of the 23 Seacraft that I will restore one day and have great confidance that I can paint it with A HVLP gun. Now all I need is $ and a 23 seacraft.
