I'm sure you can find a better price than that if you shop around. Your not going to like this reply but my suggestion is to not do any of that stuff, and to just do the transom right. With that 300 yami that is no joke back there. I'm sure you have an aluminum backing plate on the inside part of the transom on the boat. If not prob should look into that.
