Default Re: Need a 175 HP Motor

Hey Bud,

Easy now, easy. Slow down. Most of the members here are saltwater folks and you are at the western base of the Smokey Mountains, at least a few hundred miles from the east coast.

I did a search on Google for a 175HP outboard for you and came up with this website you might want to check out.

http://bbcboards.zeroforum.com/

It is apparently devoted to Bass Boats and may be very productive for you. I didn't register, so I can't give you a lot of info, but check it out and you might check out other similar sites.

We all love our SeaCrafts, but keep in mind they are primarily a saltwater boats because of their superior ability to handle the water conditions found on open water.

Try some of the more freshwater focused sites like the one I suggested and you might have some good luck finding that "needle in a haystack" you're looking for.

If you own a Seacraft, cherish it! It will still run in freshwater too.

Good Luck.
