Interesting, I tried mine there and changed the heights and tried it outboard from there about 3" in from the next chine but just couldn't stop the bubbles from interfering at anything above 1200 rpm (what ever that speed really is) I think about 4knots.

As Ikan said, the water temp is not accurate of course. I guess I could buy a paddle wheel with temp and mount it where the transducer was..

Anyone got a Humminbird wheel and temp they don't need?

Anyway, it works where I have it so I am happy with it now.
