Yami HPDI v. 4 Stroke ?
What is the deal with the HPDI engine? I know its lighter then the 4, has it held up well, any negs with these? I have noticed some Reg 26's priced well, tend to be older boats say 1996 with the HPDI as a recent repower say 2002. Is there a reason to avoid the HPDI ? I assume the 4 stroke gets better fuel economy but is heavier. I run a IB so not to up on these engine trade offs.
