Default Re: Armstrong Bracket

Ok, took the measurements and put some pics up on photobucket. A friend and I were talking and he reminded me that i dont know for sure if the manufacturer is armstrong or what. The bracket has the number 88031 stamped inside so it certainly appears to be a major manufacturer bracket. I thought armstrong or gil for sure. It was purchased off of ebay as an Armstrong brand bracket and i never questioned it. Anyways, the bracket measures 72 1/2" long and is 25" wide at its widest. The angle is 17 degrees from perpendicular to the top swim platform and mounting plate or 107 degrees or however you want to look at it. The bracket definitely needs some paint work on the underside etc. The top of it is in excellent shape which is what you see when in the water but the underside and corners are a little scuffed up. Structurally this bracket is perfect. Pictures can be seen at photobucket, link below. Upon discovering the need for more substantial painting (not the end of the world), I am lowering the price to $800 Firm. I still prefer a local sale but am looking into shipping on a pallet. The bracket weighs approx 150 lbs. Let me know if interested, i am listing here first and then alas, off to ebay. Cheers. Brendan.
