Default Cut-down 20' SeaCraft

I was down in the Keys again yesterday, and saw a '77 20 SeaCraft for sale in Big Pine that had been cut down into a flats skiff. At first I thought it was another knock-off, but when I asked the owner (at a gas station) he said it was a boat he had salvaged after Hurricane Charley. He cut the hullsides down by 12" at the bow, and 6 inches at the transom, and threw away the cap. He kept the liner and console, and made a new cap that's a full foot wide all along the gunwales. He had a Yamaha 150 mounted on a jack-plate.

I didn't have a camera, or I'd have taken pix. Has anyone else run into this boat? The owner says he lives on Sugarloaf.

Jesus liked fishing, too. He even walked on water to get to the boat!
