Default Re: Bow Plaque

There are several options. Have you thought about just replacing it with one of Carla's nice SS emblems?!

You could use the old one for a mold, make one out epoxy and paint it! Grind out the pits with Dremel tool, fill with solder or bondo and sand smooth, spray with a release agent. Then build a small box around it and fill with RTV/Silicone rubber. After it cures, just peel the rubber off, flip it over, and fill with epoxy of your choice. The aerospace folks make small volume prototype parts that way all the time!

Another option, if you have any friends with a CNC milling machine, would be to just use that to carve it out of whatever material you want! There is also a process called stereolithography that can make virtually any part out of plastic in just a few hours if you have a 3D solid computer model of it . . . but that's probably overkill for what you need!
