Wait a month. Difference here in Citrus County is only 23 cents. Off-highway diesel (which is legal to use in a boat kept in the water) is 6 cents cheaper than gasoline. Mix that with bio-diesel, and you can save lots of money. But probably not $30K worth.
MEG's website shows a cost-of-ownership difference of $58,000 over 1000 hours of use, NOT including engine purchase price. And considering the 8000 hour life of the diesel, suddenly, it seems pretty cost-effective. If only I had the $$, I'd love the 2.3L 200 for my Seafari
