I asked because I was interested in the coating that was put over the Quikfair, but there were threads in the past about being able to gelcoat over epoxy, just needing to make sure to get rid of the amine blush or something like that. Actually I gel coated my console yesterday over epoxy and Quikfair and it came out fine. Hopefully I will be finished sanding tonight and break out the Aquabuff 2000. One of the other guys here also gel-coated his hull bottom over epoxy and Quikfair also. I definitely want to look into the Interlux fairing compound you guys mentioned though. Especially if it is cheaper than the System3 stuff.
