should I put them on the t-top or Gunnel mount them. I worry about the stress on the t-top I have had to have tops re welded and so have my friends. I run boats pretty hard. What are the pros and cons and will bait performance be affected by the higher or lower angle of attack?
I think deploying and bringing them and addressing other potential issues in is a royal pita when they're up high so I'd go gunwale mount. As far as angle it stands to reason that surface jigs would bounce more and you would lose some depth on deep runners if they're mounted up top. Whether the difference is significant when fish are on the chew? -- I doubt it... I simply ain't tall enough to run'em up and down when they're on the T-top. If I'm trolling for wahoo @60 mph in that Moesly Warhawk, I'd definitely keep'em lower
