Default Re: Shoot Through Transducer

I have a shoot thru on my backup unit on my classic 23. I cleaned the area next to the center line really well about 2 ft forward of the tansom, applied a big glob of silicon, and smooshed the tansducer down evenly into it. In calm water I can read bottom at 30mph. This should work on any boat as long as it does not have a composite hull that has the core sandwhiched between the layers of fiberglass.
