I think the motor is fine at 1 1/4 - and 5K should be fine just not sure about going down to a 15, it will kill the cruise speed. I think your about as good as it gets maybe - maybe try a decarb on it too, lord knows when if ever it was done, that may give you a bit more with it cleaned out, they just seem to idle better and stuff so maybe it will help top end too.

Its easy on those carbs just get the Deep Creep and follow directions - thats the spray, spray right in the carbs so its easy. Just remember it seems that a fellow I respect said they don't live as good at 5400/5500, I'll check with him
