Yes,it's the long shaft T8 Yamaha.I should have raised it a couple of inches higher,but it works great as mounted.I don't think the short shaft would be long enough.

I can't say enough good stuff about this motor.It's so quiet,that I have to ask my buddies if it's running when I start it.It pushes the boat at all the normal trolling speeds that we use for Salmon.It
pushes the boat very good,even into three footers,and top speed is six Mph.

I love the power trim and tilt.I can raise it from the front control box,and also at the rear on the motor itself.

When it's time to run in with the I/O I can raise the kicker so that it's completely out of the water.
