Default Re: General Ride Question -- Sceptre vs CC

Convert IT!!! YOu will love it!!! I did and would do it again in a heart beat. I can fish more people because now there is no windshield in the way, we can easily fish 4 across the back and 2 on the sides with tons of elbow room. and that's with a monster console, (most would have chosen a smaller console" The ride is incredibly better (no offense we did go with the scuba holder on the top back of the leaning post and in tansom livewell, which helps maximize space. but there is still a TON of room. and the ride is only wet if it is very nasty (see rain jackets, cheaper then Eisenglass ) and you will appreciate the ride in those nasty conditions. If the "getting wet factor was terrible I would have put aluminum poles on each side of the leaning post to connect to the T top and made a soft enclosure, but it is not that bad, If it is terrible you don't go very fast anyways. On a side note we were at he the sandbar the other day and saw an original Savage outboard, it was a diamond in the rough and had a brand new Etec on the back, SWEET!!! First Savage I have seen in the real world.
