Re: Who Wants one? Original 21.....considering orders.
Skip and I had the opportunity of going for a ride in Brian's "Black Jack" yesterday .... one word, AWESOME!
The seas were calm, maybe 2-3 feet so not a real test of her rough water ability, but just the same, a real smooth ride. Purposely finding some boat wakes to jump, it was like going on a magic carpet ride, going up, down & then up without ever hitting a 'bottom' or feeling a 'bump'. I was standing in the front, towards the bow and hardly needing to hold onto anything. Beautiful ride.
Getting on plane was extremely impressive, powered with a single 200 hp. I thought our bowrider did a great job, but this 21 with 6 people on board, popped up even faster. At WOT, going close to 50 mph, she did "dance" some on the wave tops. I think Brian did too good of a job in keeping her light, but adding a forward bunk/storage area as he plans to do, will settle the boat into the water a little more and the ride will be that much more impressive.
Thank you Brian for a wonderful time and an incredible ride.
Carla
