True but have you priced 30 feet of tinned 1/2 inch thick battery cable? Thats about what you need to get from the cc of a 23 to an engine on a bracket. The welding cable comes heavily encased in rubber and if you heat shrink the ends and use good end terminals then you will be good to go.
