With my real job and other things I have not been able to do much.

What I have done is I took the cap off the gas tank and took off the 18 lbs of chaulking someone had put on, I guess the thinking was the more the better.
I also started cleaning out the bilge area and boy there was so much thick crude back there it was unreal.

And so far I have taken out 30 gals of gas and ran it in my old ford truck mixing in the same amount of fresh gas, have not had any problems so far.

Plan to change out the gas fill hose ( anyone know how long I need?) and new wires for the gas gauge and they reseal it the right way in the next day or so.

I would like to get some compound and wax on her to see what happens

Maybe on the weekend reinstall the center console so I get it out of the yard.My wife says her yard looks like it from Sanford & Son (Oh well)

I would like ideas on removal of bottom paint
