I have a 25" Suzuki 250 on a Armstrong bracket. It seems to work well. I have a sceptre with a large top, 150 gal gas tank, and a lot of gear. The 250 pushes it just fine.
Cruise at 4300 rpm, 29 mph, 11.7 gph with full load.
The 300 uses the DTS controls, which in my case would of added almost 3k to the motor. That is why I went with the 250.
