i have posted a picture of Dons twin engine bracket it is designed for twin 25" motors or a single 30" the single gets mounted in the center of the bracket at the deepest point. If you look at the picture the twin bracket it is wider than the single which gives you more flotation I belive it is designed to float 800 lbs of motor weight.The bracket is mounted very close to the bottom of the hull this gives you your flotation, you can check out dons site
