Re: 1973 Seafari has left the Keys
The teak louvered door is out being reworked and I'm going with white 3/8" starboard for the new insrument panel. I'm considering laminating it with teak to blend in with the other teak on the boat. The red hull buffed out very nicely using 3M fine cut and Maguires chalk remover. I'm still looking for the grey gasket striping for the glass and plixiglas. I'm still looking for the marine gree 3/8" plexiglas for the side windows. The forward hatch stanchons are going to be hard to replace. I'm looking for a wiring diagram for the Seafari 20 outboard to beting a complete rewire job. I have on soft spot under the bait cooler that will need to be shored up. I'm hoping to get the water pressure switch adjusted on the Nissan 140hp OB so that the motor will have full rpm. I complete rebuilt the Seminole OEM trailer prior to leaving Florida last winter. The original 3/4" plywood in the seatpan has been removed and I'll soon install the new wood and use the original fiberglas cover to reseal the wood as was the original seat. The bolsters will have to be reconstructed from stratch. I got the original measurements off the old one prior to tossing them. That's the update on the "Rowe Boat" for now.
