One can only imagine what else he would have come up with had he not sold out to Potter! Sure can't blame him for wanting to retire and sail around the world, however, after his military career and the intense experience of starting his own company plus having a very busy and successful racing career! Something to be said for retiring at the peak of your success! The days of an independent guy being able to compete at that level are long gone - would take a major corporate sponsorship to do that today! Denny

The man is a rare combination af artist and engineer.Some engineers are also great artists, but few great artists are also great engineers, or for that matter, great judges of others strengths and abilities.
