I just completed enclosing the transom and installing a bracket, and i have to say that I love the extra room in the stearn, not to mention the incredible ride. Mine had an inboard/outboard. I completedly demoed the transom due to excessive wetness, and installed an A&J Marine aluminum bracket. Been using it now for 3 months with no problems.
