Believe it or not I saw this the day it came up,
then 65 Bowrider also gave me the heads up.
If this were a 15' Scampi it would have never gone
public. This 27 is going to be a MAJOR re-do
who ever ends up with her. This does not mean
I'am throwing in the towel, but drawing the line .
Just to move this boat is going to cost any where
from $500.00 up depending on the distance.
This boat is less then 14 miles from area 442. (my home)
All 4 tires are shot. The hubs of this mobile home frame trailer are questionable at best. This rig has not moved in 28 years. The area to work in is very tight.
All in all I would love to take possession of this 27
Seamaster. It will truly be a labor of love and a
one of kind. Fellowship's post on what is out there
in the price range of the re-do makes you think about
what all is involved. This a rare breed of a hull
and as cool as it gets for a collectible.
Just alot of soul searching to do before the bid closes in
less then 24 hours.
Again thanks to all for their support and no hard
feelings if this goes to someone else.
See ya, Ken
