The mechanics, pump, etc in the galley seat were toast, I tore them out and the lower half of the sink and installed two storage areas and a hatch accessing the lower area, with a set of drawers for small parts. You can get to additional storage area through the forward side of the galley.

The ankle breaker step down between the seats is covered, with storage underneath, planning water. The wood is "Ipay", a South American hardwood that looks like teak, especially when it is weathered. Very pretty wood, but hard as diamonds, very hard to shape.
