The Bimini was made longer and higher than the original. Thanks all for advice. Also the full enclosure was made in two sections for each side, front and back, to maximize flexibility for sun shade and ventilation. Its real nice to have just enough up in the afternoon cooking fish to keep the sun off, but not stop the breeze. The last enclosure pic shows the aft side panel with the screens open, also max ventilation with the bugs out.
Last pic is what a few places on the deck look like. The gel coat is completely gone. Looks for all the world like it was waxed so many times it wore through. Otherwise, the deck waxes up real nice. Still, it will be a lot better with an an allgrip job--- next year. Looks to me like the gelcoat on the hull itself is good for another 38 years.
