Last time I cut plexi I put plywood blade backwards on the tablesaw. I think I also ran some masking tape on the cut line. for curves go with jigsaw w/a fine tooth blade and take your time. Tape is also good here, although the material usually comes with a plastic film on both sides

Make sure you ventilate well.

Can't speak to the bending but heat should do the trick.
