Yea....I actually have done a lot to get it to ride better.I just put the two batteries forward under the center console's lift up seat.one was in the portside transom storage and the other on the portside under the helm.whoever wired it used various sized battery cables so I used #2 marine battery wire for everything.I also just set up the scotty electric downriggers so I stow the 10&15lb weight sets forward too.all this has helped balance out the boat...especially when I have the trolling motor on it.Forward of the CC I have a second,1/4 scoop auxilary bait tank (for mackeral) I rigged to use when we will fish the Mako aqnd Threshers this summer.I am gonna take her out this weekend and run around with everything working just to check her out and see how she'll plane with this new layout.I'll let you know how it works out.have a good one and thanks for posting!

I have owned Classic 23 and 18 foot CC Mako's...They were nice but My Classic SF18 SeaCraft is where its at!
Cant wait till I can get a Master Angler!
