That's correct. The way Seastar helms work, the larger the capacity, the greater the steering effort, but the less turns LTL. If you get the big pump, with lots of effort, the Power Steering pump is the way to go...at $1800 a pop.
Check out the 1.4 helm. You might be surprised at both the performance and the cost...
