90 Merc power head, repair or replace...???
I need some help on this issue....my 1996 90 Merc 2 stroker looks like it is need of major repair...estimate $2,500...I just had the lower unit in for major service hoping I could avoid the capital outlay....my gut says trash and go new, but the price tag on a new 90 is making me gag....but sinking that much more cash into a 1996 seems a poor investment...?? thoughts....?
