Actually, the patent restrictions have all expired. This variable deadrise hull design is now being copied by at least a dozen boat manufacturers.

You can legally pop a mold off the hull. BTW, Carla, who posted earlier, is the daughter of the man who designed the famous SeaCraft hull, and a big fan of this hull (and her Dad).

Carl Moesly is still around, and lives in Yankeetown, less than 10 miles from me. (Or at least he did last year). Perhaps he might bless this endeavor, if asked.
