Well I can't compare to cSick Nick but we have some slightly smaller bluefin down NJ way...
I took advantage of the weather window and ran to the Chicken Canyon (75 miles from Sandy Hook) Saturday on my friend's Contender. A little too far for my 20 SF...
Ended up 3 for 5 on Bluefin. 2 were 30-40 lbs, the one we kept was 70.
Fish hit on ballys, cedar plugs, and spreader bars.
