The original owner had mounted the raw water pump on the inside of the transom in the rear port seat hatch. I don't understand why would you put screws into a 40 year old transom especially without any 5200 or epoxy
but anyways, i need to remount it. Any suggestions? Should I mount it to the stringer as strick did in his latest rebuild? My console is small and tight, but there is a little space for it. Any other suggestions would be helpful.
