I'd check with the dealer if that's were you bought it. I do know that the 7 year extended warranty offered with some of the earlier motors like mine was essentially an insurance policy with a 3rd party outfit that was notorious for disallowing claims. Warranties on the newer motors are directly with BRP, who has an excellent reputation for backing them up, so you need to find out who your warranty is actually with. There is a very good
