Default Re: opinions of an 2002 SeaCraft ???

If you're after the name and hull, buy the SeaCraft. I have fished off a friend's '04 21', and it was a really nice boat.

If you're after the hull design, there are about 15 builders at last count building the Moesly VDH hull with varying degrees of quality.

Having looked at (and longed for) most of them, there are a couple that stand out.

Albin was the one I thought was far above the rest in quality. They made a 26' VDH hull from '05 through '08 that I know of. They may have built it before then and still be building it.

Silverhawk was also very nice, and also a 26'.

My second choice would be Sailfish. They make really nice 21' and 23' Walk-arounds that are fantastic family fishing and fun boats. Here is a link to their 23' Pilot House WA: Sailfish 23 WAC Pilot House

But if you can finance an '02 SeaCraft, you'll spend a lot less money. The 23' above is almost $100K with twin 4S Yam 150's and aluminum trailer.

Jesus liked fishing, too. He even walked on water to get to the boat!
