I was the Dockmaster/Service manager at Waterway Marina in Palm Beach Gardens, a Seacraft dealership. The doctor had a 25' Robalo with twin Merc outboards, and I took him fishing with me one day on my 1973 23' SeaCraft. He was absolutely entranced by the ride and seaworthiness of the boat, and when we got back, he demanded a test ride on the only 27' we had in stock, which had twin 230 hp inboards. He wanted diesels, which were not listed as an option, so we called the factory, which agreed to build with diesels of the customer's choice. The next week we flew to Tampa, toured the plant, and he paid for the entire boat up front.

Also I was curious about the ride characteristics, the Doc must be happy with it!

Without any exaggeration, the 27' with twin IB rides like a 40' boat. It is incredibly soft and stable.
