awlgrip is the way to go, that is why it is so expensive, but if the boat is stored outdoors you will get about 6 years out of the awlgrip.
I know of many people that store their boats outdoors and after 10 years their Awlrgip job still looks great.

strick
My last boat which was a 30' Alura had Imron and after 10 years in the FL. sun still looked good.
all true, my results are not typical. i have one boat with 8 y/o awlgrip that still looks great, 6 years is the rule of thumb the paint shops around here use. also we have to repaint the charter boats every 3-5 years but that's definitely a wear and tear problem./ nevertheless awlgrip is the product i recomend.
