If the decks are soft then the quickest thing to fix them is to tear them completely out. It's easiest to get at the transom from the out side but you will have to spend a good amount of time fairing it smooth. The stringer can most likely be fixed rather then replaced. SeaCrafts have unique stringers that are hardy enough to become fossilized.

As Lance mentioned over the years the members on this site have done just about anything you can dream up in regards to our beloved SeaCrafts.
