Thanks! I didn't know much about seacrafts before I bought this boat . For the money I paid I couldn't be happier. As for the drain in the fish box I have one going straight down out the bottom of the boat . If you leave it un plugged the box will fill up with water . But t he waterline is lower than the top of the deck so no need to worry about your boat sinking if you open it at sea. And if you open it while your running the water will drain out. Then you can plug in . This setup works fine if you trailer your boat after every use . Plug it before you put it in the water , ice it down , when you get back to the house drain and clean. The problem I have is when i leave the boat in the water for weeks at a time there's no way to clean and drain it at the dock. Which can get pretty nasty. I hope i could help.
